The 10 Most Memorable Celebrity Wedding Gowns

Transcript

Hi. It's Allison McNamara, and welcome back to Fab Flash. Right now, we've got wedding season on our minds, so accordingly, we've rounded up the most fashionable celebrity wedding gowns. Keep watching to see who made our top ten. First up, we have Victoria Beckham, who went for a classic and elegant ivory colored dress by Vera Wang when she tied the knot to David Beckham. This dress is very posh, no pun intended. After all we'd expect we wouldn't expect less from the Spice Girl turned designer the timeless silhouette is made modern with a structured neckline and ginormously full skirt. Salma Hayek is a long time fan of Balenciaga, and she even chose the Parisian brand for her big day. Salma looked exquisite and her gown really accentuated her curves. The sleeveless dress had beautiful embellishing on the bodice that stood out against the white satin skirt. She finished off her wedding day look with a long veil and gorgeous diamond drop earrings. Kate Moss's wedding dress had a vintage feel, inspired by the 1920's that beautifully reflected her elegant bohemian style. designed by her long-time friend John Galliano, who also designed her 21st and 30th birthday dresses. The bias cut, no frills gown was sheer on the top and bottom and embellished with rhinestone embroidery for a romantic feel. On the other end of the spectrum, Kate Middleton went from real girl to real life princess, in a timelessly elegant gown, fit for a queen to be. Kate worked with Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen to create it, a classic sweetheart-style gown with a super-long train. It was handmade by the Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court Palace, and the veil was attached to a Cartier tiara loaned to her by the Queen. She covered her shoulders with gorgeous Chantilly lace, and we can't help but love the adorable satin buttons down the back of the dress. Definitely one of the wedding moments of the century. Portia de Rossi married funny lady Ellen Degeneres and wore a light pink Zac Posen tulle gown for the wedding. The fairy tale-like tutu skirt was balanced out with a sophisticated satin halter style bodice, with a low sexy back. We love how Portiafor an unconventional twist in light pink. Another one who played with color is Gwen Stefani, who wowed in a custom-made Christian Dior silk gown, complete with an amber pink hem that totally plays up her punky personality. This gown is definitely for the girl who wants to take a risk. But she balanced out the fashion-forward bottom with a delicate antique veil. We never saw photos from Beyonce's actual wedding day, however, she did share a few snaps of her trying on wedding dresses sans makeup. And the one she chose for the big day was designed by her mom. It had a strapless sweetheart style neckline, rouge bodice, and a dramatic ruffled train that accentuated her curvy figure perfectly. Proving that you don't need embellishments to sparkle. Reese Witherspoon is another one who went for a subtle hint of color. With a blush tone Monique Lhuillier gown with a chantilly lace corset body and a full A-lined skirt adorned with cascading silk flowers which matched her daughter's dress, Reese's gown was sweet, unexpected, and simply breathtaking. Alicia Keys looked like a Grecian goddess in her white, one shoulder Vera Wang dress. The slinky white gown perfectly hugged her mommy-to-be curves. For her Mediterranean wedding, she opted for crystal encrusted flat sandals, and played up the Grecian motif with a sparkly headband. Perfect for a beach or outdoor wedding. And last, but certainly not least, Katie Holmes went for a more traditional bridal look, selecting an off-the-shoulder Giorgio Armani gown, with a straight neckline and super long train. The whole dress was covered in lace, and Swarovski crystals and she topped it off with a long, extravagant ivory veil and the whole look was very romantic. Now you've seen our picks for the most fashionable celebrity wedding gowns. Let me know which ones you like best. I'm Allison McNamara. See you next time on Fab Flash on Fab Sugar TV.
