Man does spectacular trick shot through moonroof while driving a car

David Kalb can bounce two basketballs through a moonroof while driving a car, which to me is more awesome than scoring a three-pointer while driving the same car, but whatever. I guess that people love the scoring more than the bouncing.

Best invoicing apps for iPhone: Freshbooks, Zoho, Invoice2Go, and more!

The best invoicing apps for iPhone to help you bill clients on time and easier than ever!

Looking for the best iPhone apps for managing your invoices? Whether you're a contractor or freelancer, one of the most important aspects of running a successful business is invoicing clients on time. Unfortunately, it's something that sometimes is easier said than done. Traditional invoice software can be cumbersome and difficult to us. Luckily the App Store is full of awesome apps that make the process a lot less painful. But which invoicing apps are the very best?

Freshbooks

Freshbooks is a complete cloud accounting solution for billing and expenses. Not only can you cut invoices right from your iPhone, you can get paid online as well via PayPal integration. If you have expenses you need to categorize and track, Freshbooks lets you take photos of all your receipts and track them. If you need to organize clients and view how much time you spent on projects, you can use Freshbooks for that too. If you have less than three clients, Freshbooks is completely free.

If you're self employed and need an accounting solution that isn't too terribly complicated, Freshbooks is one of the best available.

Zoho Invoice and Time Tracker

Zoho is an invoicing and time tracking service that has a no fuss setup. Just enter a little bit of information about your business, tax rate, and client rates. Pick and invoice template and start invoicing. You can also use Zoho to track expenses and time for multiple projects at a time. One unique thing about Zoho is that it also allows you to take credit card payments, a huge plus for those that want an all-in-one solution.

If you don't want to go through a lengthy setup process or want to process credit cards, check out Zoho.

Invoice ASAP

Invoice ASAP isn't the prettiest invoicing app for iPhone but what it lacks in pretty it makes up for in functionality. Invoices are easy to create and you can sync your data between QuickBooks and Xero to eliminate the need to do the work in both places. You can also capture signatures right within Invoice ASAP as well as add photos and voice notes to invoices.

If you have a need to add media to invoices such as photos of voice notes, Invoice ASAP is worth a look.

Invoice2go

Invoice2go is a complete invoicing solution that ties in with many other apps such as Calendar2go, Maps2go, Receipts2go, and more. Like Zoho, setup is easy and there are lots of templates to choose from. You can add custom rates and taxes as well. One thing Invoice2go does that some invoice apps don't is parts and labor. If you need to separate them out for tax purposes, this is something Invoice2go does well. It's worth noting that Invoice2go has two versions, the regular version and the Plus version. If you don't need cloud sync and plan on being the only person using Invoice2go, go with the regular paid version. If you need cloud sync and access for multiple users, the free app with subscription service is the best option.

For a complete solution with an entire ecosystem of apps available to support it, you can't go wrong with Invoice2go.

Quickbooks Online

Quickbooks Online is the companion app for the Quickbooks Online accounting service. You can invoice clients and customers, track expenses, and view most of the data contained in your Quickbooks account. While it isn't as full featured as the actual web version of QuickBooks Online, it still serves as an easy and intuitive way to invoice clients and customers right on the spot.

If you use QuickBooks Online to manage your business, the QuickBooks online app for iPhone is a must have.

  • Free (requires QuickBooks Online subscription) - Download Now

A Rare Genetic Mutation in These Siblings Makes Them Immune to Viruses

A Rare Genetic Mutation in These Siblings Makes Them Immune to Viruses

Viruses are incompetent but smart little things. Unable to make proteins on their own, they hijack ours for their own nefarious purposes. But what if we gave the viruses broken proteins? An incredibly rare genetic disorder in a brother and sister pair does exactly that, making them immune to many classes of viruses—and suggesting new possibilities for antiviral treatments.

Auxo 2 for iPhone review

If you regularly jailbreak your iPhone, you are no doubt familiar with Auxo. If you don't use it, you've at least heard of it. The original version of Auxo brought with it multitasking that was actually usable in an iOS 6 world. Auxo 2 is now available for iOS 7 and takes the multitasking game to an entirely new level.

When you launch Auxo 2 for the first time, you'll immediately notice that it has become a fusion between iOS 7 multitasking and Control Center. This new view is what Auxo 2 calls Multi-Center. It can be triggered by swiping up from the bottom of the screen or by double tapping the Home button. If you prefer to not have Control Center and multitasking merged into one view, you can disable it in Settings and keep them separate.

If you have the Multi-Center view enabled in Auxo 2, you'll notice some changes. Along the top and bottom of the screen you have access to common controls such as AirPlay, AirDrop, and system toggles such as WiFi, Camera, calculator, and more. If you don't like this view, which I don't know why you wouldn't, you can hide it in Auxo's settings.

The Quick Switcher, arguably Auxo 2's most prominent feature, lets you access recently used apps with one simple gesture. Just drag your finger up from the bottom left of the screen to launch the Quick Switcher. Now scrub left and right and let go on the app you'd like to launch. You can also drag your finger up from the bottom right corner of the screen in order to return to the Home screen instantly. As with any other settings for Auxo 2, these gestures can be disabled and customized in Auxo's settings section.

If you purchased the original version of Auxo, you'll get a discount on Auxo 2 which brings the price to $1.99. If you didn't purchase the original, the full price of Auxo 2 is $3.99, which in our opinion isn't bad for what's arguably one of the best jailbreak tweaks we've seen for iOS 7 thus far. Auxo 2 isn't currently available for iPad but will be eventually, as a free update to the existing Auxo 2 app.

If you try out Auxo 2, let me know what you think of it in the comments! What's your favorite feature of Auxo 2? Let me know that too!

Singer Prince is throwing a pajama party for fans

Music

Prince, seen here at the Grammys in February, is throwing a pajama party at his Paisley Park Studios.

Get ready to party like it's 1999 ... or like it's 3 a.m. and you're rocking out at Prince's house. His Royal Badness has invited fans to his Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minn., just outside Minneapolis, for a slumber party that's sure to beat any of your fond memories from junior high.

On Tuesday, the singer tweeted the simple word "hUNGRy?" with the picture of a flyer showing his band, 3rdEyeGirl in comfy-looking bedclothes, and featuring information about the upcoming Breakfast Experience Pajama Dance Party to be held on Saturday. A $50 donation is required, doors open at the eye-scorching hour of 2 a.m., and there is a dress code. "Dress 2 impress. Keep it classy!" the flyer implores.

The early hour and breakfast theme can be explained. Prince's new single is called "Breakfast Can Wait," though it's unclear if that will be the title track of an album. A teaser video he released (featuring Dave Chappelle as Prince) would seem to indicate it's a song from an album called "The Breakfast Experience," but Prince is nothing if not a little mysterious.

The flyer doesn't indicate if Prince himself will perform, but he has been giving concerts with Third Eye Girl as well as tweeting from their joint Twitter account. The Purple One has become known for some odd-hour concerts at Paisley Park, so it seems certain he won't be able to resist rocking out.

And the pancake motif? Back in 2004, when Chappelle imitated Prince in a comedy sketch, he told of Prince and his band the Revolution playing basketball against Chappelle and crew, and then serving them pancakes. Dig in, fans.
